What’s Special About The Kanyakumari Wax Museum?
We don’t have proof to validate this claim, but apparently, the Kanyakumari Wax Museum is one of the first wax museums in India. There are about 150 wax statues of famous Indian politicians and celebrities, including Mahatma Gandhi, Jayalalitha, and even actors like Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachan, Rajnikanth, and Vijay.
Why Are Wax Museums Special For Children?
Even at the Kanyakumari Wax Museum, not all wax statues look perfect. In fact, some look very tacky. But these statues help children visualize the characters they have read about in their textbooks. As adults, you can take selfies with your favorite personalities.
